On June 26, NOW GmbH published two important articles highlighting the importance of the hydrogen economy in Germany. 1. regional H2 clusters: the hydrogen ramp-up needs domestic value chains!
This article emphasizes the crucial role of regional H2 clusters and the need to promote domestic value chains in order to strengthen the local economy and reduce dependence on imports. 2nd Hydrogen Acceleration Act: Important milestone improves hydrogen ramp-up!
The new law aims to accelerate the development and use of hydrogen technologies by simplifying approval procedures and providing financial incentives.

The Proton Motor position paper “Decentralized, local hydrogen fuel cell applications are the nuclei for the energy transition and transformation of Germany as an industrial location!” already reported in November 2023 that emission-free hydrogen fuel cell applications are the basis for the energy transition and the transformation of German industry.
Together with other companies, Proton Motor has also published a joint position paper as a member of Clean Power Net (CPN).
This paper underlines the need for decentralized system solutions for the production, storage and use of green hydrogen.
Decentralized systems offer enormous potential for climate neutrality activities to secure the energy supply and increase grid stability.

Bavarian Energy Days: September 27 event on the hydrogen economy at Proton Motor

Proton Motor Fuel Cell is looking forward to continuing the discussion about the future of the hydrogen economy and driving the energy transition forward together!
In cooperation with KLIMA³ – the climate and energy agency of the districts of Starnberg, Fürstenfeldbruck and Landsberg am Lech, the hydrogen fuel cell manufacturer is hosting an upcoming free event on September 27 at the new production site in Fürstenfeldbruck.
The information and networking event from 13:30-18:00 is offered by the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy as part of the “Bavarian Energy Days 2024”.
