AWARD WINNER! HY.AIR wins FeuerTrutz Award 2024

In 2024, the most convincing products in fire protection will once again be honored with the FeuerTrutz “Product of the Year” award.
HY.AIR Energy wins in the “Sustainable fire protection solution” category with the HY.AIR 80 fire protection system, which provides preventive fire protection through oxygen reduction based on a hydrogen fuel cell.

As the only preventive fire protection system based on a fuel cell, the HY.AIR 80 uses the low-oxygen exhaust air produced during the energy conversion of hydrogen to reduce the oxygen content in warehouses and thus not only creates a permanent protective atmosphere, but also generates emission-free electricity and heat at the same time.
The multiple use and the associated combined efficiency of over 90 % convinced the expert jury and the participants in the online vote.
This is because the multiple use not only reduces operating costs, but also protects the environment.

The popular trophy was presented to Andreas Exler, Managing Director of HY.AIR Energy, at the FeuerTrutz trade fair in Nuremberg: “We would like to thank you for this fantastic award, which above all honors our contribution to greater sustainability. But our system also rewards the user, because we produce clean electricity and heat “on the side” and that is also good for the wallet, if only because there is no need for costly installations for an emergency power supply.”
